From thrift to fashion, a pandemic hobby.
Sophie started sewing clothes during the pandemic, transforming thrift into fashion. It turns out her grandma had a treasure trove just waiting to be repurposed.
She drew on old jeans, turned a quilt into a sweatshirt, made hats and bags, modified dresses into halter tops...
...and of course, she made lots of masks.
Here's a hat, a bag, and a pair of pants Sophie made. What's her newest project? "Right now, I'm working on making a sleeping bag suit. It's a very slow process, but I got the legs and body done." Thank you for the inspiration Sophie. I am definitely keeping an eye out for new fashion on the street!
