A new puppy and lots of fun facts!

Our puppy Chuck is 6 months old. The worst part of having a puppy is he chews up all of your favorite things. Best thing, if you put your hand in front of his mouth he licks you. When he is very tired he is easy to pet and cuddle.

I'm 6 years old and I just had my first day of school ever. It was great. I made new friends and we learned about how the earth was created. First there was a tiny black speck, then the speck exploded, then the big bang was a breakout of gasses, then volcanoes erupted all over earth.

Fun Facts: Fall leaves turn pink; light, light really pretty pink. Also, a pack of kittens is called a litter. Literally, a litter! See this bird? It belonged to my grandmother. She died this year, but we can remember her when we see it in the garden.

On the 4th of July we roasted marshmallows and I learned the trick to making s'mores (you need to really melt the chocolate). Something else I loved this summer is picking edible berries. They're so tart and delicious.

Did you know that Greek history is 193 years old? Some people believe dragons and Greek gods still live above the Empire State Building in New York City. Also, we counted to one billion in school one day. Did you even know that was a number?!
